Peter Schäfer

The gallery "Peter's Objects" is one of many art projects that Peter Schäfer has created. His sculptures, paintings, installations and photographs express his view of love, nature and structure and he often moves things out of their usual environment into a new point of view. He was born in 1969 in the communist East Germany and he started to be creative from aged 12, supported by his art teacher.
After the German wall break down and the East Germans were free to travel, he started to explore other cultures with visiting India (this took some years), Spain (deeply influenced by Gaudi's Cathedral 'Sakradia Familia'), Jordan, Egypt, Cambodia, Philipines and Thailand.
He found his home in 1993 on Koh Pha-Ngan, built his first house and created decorations and installations on many parties, esp. at LeelaBeach.
